Yesterday, the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, visited the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL). The President’s visit included a guided tour through our cutting-edge laboratories and cleanroom facilities, where he was introduced to our latest innovations and scientific achievements.

It was a proud moment for us to showcase the depth and impact of our work, and to engage in meaningful dialogue about the role of science in shaping the future. Members of the FeLow-D project also had the opportunity to meet the President.

This visit was a meaningful opportunity to highlight the importance of scientific research in Latvia. We are grateful for the President’s sincere interest in our work and his encouragement of Latvia’s growing scientific community.
