On July 11, 2025, the ISSP UL had the pleasure of hosting Talis Reks from MIT.nano for an engaging seminar on immersive technologies, sharing insights from MIT.nano Immersion Lab’s work in human-computer interaction, physiology, and biomechanics.

Following the presentation, a lively Q&A session sparked ideas on how advanced research environments can support researchers and industry. The visit continued with a tour of ISSP UL’s cleanroom facilities led by Dr. Annamarija Trausa, showcasing ISSP UL’s capabilities in advanced materials development.

This visit aligns with FeLow-D’s mission to boost ISSP UL’s lab-to-market transition, expand research capacities, and build a global cooperation network in advanced electronic and biomedical technologies. By connecting with leading institutions like MIT.nano, ISSP UL continues to strengthen its role in Europe’s innovation landscape.
